hey guys some guy wants to sell me some euro ecode headlights with the fogs and stuff..for $200CAN deliverd...is it a good deal? here is the link

I would say that is a good deal. Depending on brand and condition of lights. there are such huge debates on quality of the FK/Depo/Valeo E-Codes. I think it might just be personal preference... Of course if they are Hella snatch those up quick

On the Golf/GTI some are glass and some plastic I think... keep that in mind. Otherwise I do not think there is much of a difference.

Glass is definitely better, valeo, I had some and they were OK, but broken, and when I fixed them I noticed that they were NOT well made, I would stay away from them.

On the Jetta I think all lenses are plastic, however on my Depot e-codes I noticed that the plastic lens is kind of discoloring in spots. The light pattern is really awesome and they look way better than the stock headlights at night. However, OEM quality is definitely higher.

I think the OEM lenses are made of Lexan. Super hard and durable stuff. Especially in our locale. Gravel does not sand make.

Honestly $200 Canadian shipped is a bargain no matter what the brand...

We already gave out the advice! Glass is good. Depot is not as good as Hella. The price is quite reasonable. Rest is up to you!

Actually a short while ago a bunch of depots went for 75 USD shipped a while ago, alot of people really dislike them.
