Finally some pics, the guys on the 'tex have been bickering about it forever. Anyways, I like it. I guess I jumped the gun buying my jetta in Sept.

i was gonna post that last night but thought everyone woulda seen it on the tex already.. i kinda like it actually.. if i was to buy one though I would have to get black to go along with the chrome accents then put chrome mirrors on but for the price and the amount of cash i already put into my jetta i could never trade up.. plus i would end up modding it anyways

If anyone wants to buy one of these models, please let me know. I received a call from Trevor at SouthCentre a little while ago letting me know that this was announced... and if I get him sales by referring customers then I get a little monetary kickback. They are going to be about $36k (although I don't think final pricing has been annouced yet).billip

I used to have a deposit on one at South center .. actualy through porche as i dont like south center VW
.. but anyways probly wont be any left in Sept. as they predicted the delievery date to be around febuary, wasnt confirmed though.

Man, when I heard they were coming out with the GLI 337 Jetta (or whatever the hell they are going to call) I so wanted one. But, looking at those pictures, I think I will keep mine. i like the BMP one but it still needs more drop to it.. hopefully they offer the recaros with leather then picking up a set should be cheaper. its a shame they are calling it just a GLI and taking the 24v out of the lineup.. that engine only got 2 years of use.. unless they keep it as an option..Comment

it does have leather recaros. you can see.
in the rear, the sun is reflecting off the head rest, means its leather. in the front right passenger, you can see GLI stitched into the seats, so recaros.

I think they look like cloth recaros. As I have had them the cloth had a shine to it and I think that looks more like the pics then leather. The stitching looks very similat to the GTI that was in the 337.Blair
