Yeah, but it's not really limited in the US. They're talking like 3500 cars in 2004 and another 5000 in 2005 until the end of the mk4. It just seems strange to me that they're making it a limited edition here in Canada, but a regular model down in the states.
Doesn't really matter. Is anyone from NVD looking at getting one?
yea i heard it might be called the jetta turbo S here too so i dunno
i almost want to trade mine in for one but nah its a waste with what i've done to my car now.. my interior looks like that one other than the seats and wheel but i would love the 6 spd.. i would still put my pwzo body on it and my brullen and my bilstein hr suspension so nah .. but overall i think its a rad car cuz i got pissed when they did the 20th but no jetta but now i can't complain only to the fact i coulda waited a year to buy my car
Yeah I hear that. I was pissed I didn't get a 20th AE when I got my GTI but I think in the long run I'll enjoy all the mods that I do to mine, rather then having just bought the car with them. It does suck a bit though 'cause my final plan is to look quite a bit like the 337.
I would just like to see one of these so I hope someone on here gets one. How many 20th's came to Canada?
Wow, really on 200 20th's? They seem to be more common then the 337. How many of each ended up in C-town? I've only seen the one 337 that Canadian Turbo owned, but there's at least 5-10 20th's around.
I would say ther should be around 8-12 of each in town, but hard to determine the exact number. I know that the 337s where alotted 7 to calgary, but some dealers found ways to get others.
Here is a pic of the GLI from Detroit
Blair Former Cars: '12 Fiat 500, '10 VW GTI, '05 Smart Fortwo, '96 VW Jetta GLX, '02 VW GTI 337.........
yea blair those are from the link i posted above.. is that plat grey? it seems a bit lighter for some reason but the car looks awesome.. just needs a better drop
The GLI looks AWESOME! I think I would have gotten that instead of my 20th had I the choice back when I got it.
As for the number of 20th's in Calgary - There's 6 I know of: mine, Bill's, Deuce's, Glen's, Derek's, and the one BMP that was up at 5th Ave a while ago. Other than that, I think there's one other yellow one, and probably another black. I think Derek got the only Jazz Blue one in town.
Back on topic, the 2004 Jetta GLI Turbo S will be $32,440 with the only options being ESP ($430) and Telematics ($950). There will be 350 cars for Canada available in Platinum Grey, Blue Lagoon and Black Magic Pearl. Delivery is expected to be in April but that is just and estimate.
So who is going to go get one of these bad boys??
