Hello VW fanatics,
I have just made the switch over from the japanese world to the german one. I've been a honda fanatic for my entire life and know them in and out. I just recently sold my JDM Subaru WRX that I had and saw a VW that caught my eye.
I just bought a 2002 VW jetta VR6 and am super interested to see how VW does things differently. I'll have pictures of the car when I pick it up so get some feedback on it.
I am curious as to what some common things that need to get changed on the cars are. I've seen that the coilpacks should get changed out and the upper timing chain should be replaced. (No idea what the upper timing chain is lol). As you probably can tell, i'm supe rnew to the VW scene so any info would be much appreciated. (Didn't even know the answer to the registration question "Something about vag" hahahaha)
Thankfully the coilpacks have been changed as of recent and i'm just waiting to get the car to see how under the hood is doin.
Thanks for all in input in advance.
Armin
