  • Boost issues

So on my way to work this morning the car started acting up. Under full boost/foot to the floor the needle would get to 21lbs (which is where it should be) but then the car would become extremely sputtery, followed shortly by limp mode. I pulled into a parking lot, checked all coilpacks to see if they have lifted, as well as took them out. Everything seems fine. I'm kinda stumped lol. Does anyone else have any ideas on what to check? Other than plugging in the computer haha. Any help and info would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks!!!

    Re: Boost issues

Back when I had a FMIC, I had a very similar problem. My map sensor had pushed itself out a bit and was not getting a good reading. That or it could just be bad. Any Codes??

I haven't plugged the computer in to see yet. I'm at work haha. I've unplugged my battery. Just leav it for the day and hope that fixes it (yay right hahah)

Sounds very similar to what happened to me when I had a coilpack crap out.

Are you sure they are good?

Well...turns out it was number 3 coilpack. I had changed it Sunday morning, but must have not been good. Yay for easy fixes...phew haha. Thanks for all the input guys!

Did you go get new coil packs from a recall? I got new ones last summer/fall because of that
