    Heyy guys

I am looking to get my wheels completely fixed for the summer. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places to take my wheels to to get all fixed up. My tires were toast from the camber last year and the wheels are scratched up and have a few dings from the PO.

Is there any shop that does all the following?
    - Sandblasting
    - metal work to fix the dings and scratches
    - powdercoats my wheels back to a "chrome" finish

I am looking to spend probably $400-500 getting it all fixed up nice enough to last a few more seasons.

On a side note is there anyone out there who can order and stretch 215/40/18 falken's on my 18x9" wheels? I need to get them professionally done

We dealt with Andre as well when I was working at Shaganappi Collision, only guy we dealt with, the stuff I saw come back in the shop was just amazing, he never just "settled" it was perfect or nothing. He is mobile.

He's mobile. I dropped my stuff with him at his house, and picked it up at Glenmore Auto Mall. He runs around between dealers and body shops I think,

Bob (tirebob on here) at urbanexpressions is awesome for tires. Had a great experience with him. Got 215's stretched on my 9's with zero issues

Sooo turns out that it wasn't my chrome paint that was peeling, it is actually shittily chrome plated. FML. Anyone know of any shops that do acid work for stripping chrome??

Alberta plating should be able to do dip them. They are doing my buddy's RS's. As for sand blasting, just take the wheels to Consolidated. 4 wheels to blast yourself cost 23 bucks. And they have some hefty compressors there, so no problem blasting chrome off.

They will be able to sand blast chrome off? I did not know that, i thought the plating process adhered the metals pretty well together (well obviously not very well since its chipping off haha). Alberta plating will not do them, neither will any plating place in town. I tried all of them as well as some machine shops to grind it off. I hope sandblasting will work guys

Hmm. Well sorry to hear that they can't refinish your wheels. As far as blasting chrome, it will come off fairly easy if it's already peeling. Basically all depends on the psi'age you have pumping out the sand, and obviously how "course" the sand is. If your looking to powdercoat them chrome after being blasted shoot me a pm. I can hook ya up.

                              Tanner,
Do you have any experience with sandblasting? If so could I pursuade you to come along with me to the DIY place and show me the ropes?
