So 3 Weeks ago yesterday, I hit some black-ice on the trans-canada near Lac des Arcs, and wrote off my 337.
Girlfriend and I are healthy, yet she had a lil bit of whiplash, which she quickly remedied with physio at the Glencoe. She's been skiing, and doing her yoga, so she's back to great health. That's the best news in all of this.
Anyway, the car didn't have any structural damage, but due to a car-length scrape on the drivers side against the guard rail & hitting the guard rail with the front & rear of the car, the cosmetic damages were quoted $9500+ to repair.
Thus I was paid out.
Here's a few pics of the 337 in the body shop's lot. I'd hazard it's worth about $2,000-$3,500 the way she sits.
Finally, there's a teaser of the new car at the end. I stuck gold, with the car & the seller. I fly-out April 1st and drive it home. I'm pretty pumped.
(tried to edit the second picture, so it would be right-side up, yet image shack kept defaulting it to 90* off. )
