eBay ... The prices of a catch can at any performance shop is going to be a ridiculous price. I have a greddy can in one of my cars that I paid A LOT of money for a few years ago (before i thought of ebay). In my S4 i bought it's catchcan from ebay for ~$20 ..

I'm not entirely sure how to route the vacuum line for your car, but it shouldn't be too difficult. Some of the forums will have ppl explaining, but i also suspect they will have the can vent back into the intake. That is because there are emission controls elsewhere, and not here. Vent to atmosphere for the longest engine life.

The thing is, even though the PCV valve (positive crank case) is a one way valve. it means the vacuum can suck pressure out of the crank case, but can't put it back (which sounds good). but it isn't good because when you are in boost (under load), the crank case pressure is the highest.... And so is your intake under pressure from your turbo.

So where does the crank case pressure go? no where. it builds up and builds up, and then it goes past your rings into the combustion chamber, and some into the intake. adding oil to the fuel mixture will cause detonation. no one likes that :(

poke around the net and see how to install the can in your enginebay. if you find they all route back to the intake, don't fear. simply put a filter on the line leaving the catch can that routes to the intake. and then put a cap over the intakes pcv inlet. voila

ask more and of course we'll help too!
