2011 GTI - Dealer inventory search?

hello all,
after a 3 year leave of absense i could be getting back into another VW product.

Going test driving tomorrow - the 3 door GTI is what I am looking at right now. I used to own a 1.8T Jetta and that was sold to make way for a Mini Cooper S.

Is there a way to search the dealer inventories for the specific configuration that I am looking for? I know SSFC has a decent search tool, but they seem to be the only ones.
I want a Candy White, 6spd, Tech package, 18 inch wheels and sunroof - but no leather.

Thanks - I thnk their website needs some updating, they only show a 2009 Routan in inventory.

I know I will get my answer tomorrow when I go in, I am just trying to go in prepared.

If you find one with leather, I have a MKV gti with cloth seats I'd be willing to swap!!! They are in great shape, and just scotch guarded last year!

So there is only one 2011 Candy White that meets 95% of my criteria, the catch is, I have to pay for the shipping from BC and they won't swap over the 17inch wheels it comes with for the 18's.

Looks like I will be ordering a 2012, it all depends on what i can do with the price.

dunno if this is much help, but I was in Lethbridge mall the other day and there was a candy white 3 door gti, had a 6 speed and sunroof w/ cloth. that was about a week ago...i am assuming the dealer had it on display in there.

So I am now part of the VW Community again, I put a deposit down on a 2012 Candy White GTI, 5 door, 6spd, Navi pkge, Sunroof + 18's. Estimated delivery - between June and August.
Now I am stalking all the VW boards I can to get word on what updates they have for the 2012 models. I really do hope I get the LED headlights and tailights that I've been seeing. The Jetta GLI, Passat, and EOS all have the LED taillights based on the pics I've been seeing and the new EOS also has the LED headlights..... can't wait!!!!!

Hehe thanks! I am sure there were not too many people in putting money down on a 2012 Saturday!

I've always like the GTI, was dissapointed with how it drove in '08 when I replaced my Jetta so went for a mini instead, but the 2011 brought me back. I'm sure Mike will be sick of me when the time arrives to take delivery, and if any monster mats happen to fall off the back of a truck and into my car .....
