Very cool lights, I like the super-sharp beam cutoff on low-beam and the sharp cutoff of your fogs.

What do your hi-beams look like?

A guy who lives in the same neighbourhood as me drives a lifted superduty with some sort of bluish lights - maybe hid or maybe spraypainted blue halogens, I'm not sure. I saw him pull up to the wall of a local beer establishment, flick his lights from hi-beam to low-beam a few times before leaving his truck running while he went inside. Both hi and low beams were like floodlights, lighting up the wall like a drive-in movie. His truck is blinding, but he thinks he's cool, the dumb-lights "make the look of his truck". No thought given to oncoming drivers.

We really need Euro-light vehicle requirements here in Canada,

Again, nice lights. Where'd you get them, and how much did they cost?

My wife's 03 Jetta has stock lights, and the plastic lenses are getting a bit cloudy. I'd like to do something to make them better without making them blinding.

There's some commandment that says thou shalt not covet thy neighbours headlights.

    Jiggs.

You can get plastic polish and special kits to get rid of the fog on your wife's stock lights.

Where did you get the blazer projectors and how much where they? I have been wanting to make some new driving lights for the van for awhile and they look like the ticket.

I got the projectors all from the retrofit source. They are listed at $170 but i got them for way cheaper because i bought my headlight projectors and HIDs from them also.

Isn't the beam supposed to go up on the passenger side to light up the shoulder? That's what my factory ones did anyway.

the beam does step up. its hard to tell because he's less than 5 feet from the garage so they sort of blend in together.

Yeah of course the beam steps up. It steps up less than euro lights do because of the different coding on the lights between the european market and the rest of the world. (DOT vs. E-Code). E-Codes tend to have a very large step up on their factory lights where as north american cars and japanese cars have lower step ups. Also as was stated my car was only 10 feet away from the garage.

Yeah i didn't mean for my reply to sound harsh or anything. I was just being helpful in letting people know why the step up seems not as large as other headlights you see around.
