No Power

Disconnected battery on Golf today, now after market and factory radio's will not power on. I hAve checked the radio fuse and it is fine. Any suggestions as to what is caUsing the issue?

I Don't have a code.
And we never got a radio card when we bought the car.

happened to me, buddy of mine was able to get the code for me, not to sure how tho

Did you check the fuses on the back of the decks?
and did you see if the power wire has power going to it?

yeppers i checked all the fuses,both on the decks and the Car it's self. There is absolutely no power to the deck at all. there is power at the main wire but neither deck will turn on.
I'm in Calgary for the weekend and wondering if one of the VW Dealerships here will give me my unlock code or if i will have to get it from the Dealership at home where i bought the car

well if the stock deck is asking for a code then there is the issue...but that shouldn't matter for the aftermarket one

nothing shows up on the Stock radio at all. nothing about safe 100. Can't power it on at all

Have you checked the switched power?
Does the harness have a good ground?

yep checked switched power and the Ground........ i'm at a loss as to what the problem could be. Can anyone recommend a good Dealer in Calgary that i can take this thing to to get looked at

I've had good service from Audio Concepts in Calgary. Tried a few other places and was disappointed.
