DO NOT USE MR.LUBE! My brother has worked at 2 different Mr.Lube's in the south and i have talked to some of the other techs who he works with and none of them actually know anything about cars. Also you should hear about the horror stories about them laughing at not tightening bolts and filters to customers who they don't like. It is actually a very sketchy place with all of the 18 year old high school drop outs running around working on your car. They have had numerous complaints about the quality of work they perform there.
***My brother had to go down and talk to the lower techs when i went in there and tell them that it was his brothers car just so that they would not screw around with my car and do the job properly and make sure to tighten everything properly. This should show you how much faith even my brother has with the guys he works with***
I have never given them a reason to not like me either. But what i am trying to get at is the guys who work there are 18 years old, drive civics and 240sx's and trash talk every other slightly upgraded car that comes in so that they don't get the highest quality work. My brother and the workers at the 130th ave mr.lube even admitted to screwing around under the cars that they didn't like. Also another fact is that the workers get in trouble if their average car cost (how much the customers bill is) is under $109 or something around there. So they get upset if you just come in and JUST get a regular oil change because then they have to sell more to the next customer to make up for it. So sometimes they even screw around with your car if they can't sell you an extra $30 of stuff on top of the oil change.
Again its all from my brothers job working for this company and having all of his friends around the house. And i have personally had to tighten my own bolt up after i came out of mr.lube once. So i am never going back there again, even for 50% off.
I would seriously just jack up the car and do it on the street. It has to be done like every 4 months or whatever so just jack up the passengers side and drain the oil. Only takes 15 minutes if you are doing it right.

Nice, so basically your brother is a part of the problem, you do deserve loose bolts, maybe that saying what goes around comes around is true.
Tunedub isn't a bad choice. I took one of my cars to a mr. Lube back in the day as I was in a jam and they cross threaded the bolt on my oil pan badly. It was so bad the next time I had my oil changed (luckily at a reputable shop) they dropped the oil and couldn't get the plug back in. It ended up staying at the shop for an extra day or 2 as they ordered my several hundred dollar all aluminum oil pan in.
Most expensive oil change ever. I'll never go back and never recommend it. Even while I was there 1/2 of them were screwing around while there was a line up outside 3 deep at every stall.
It reminded me of a poorly managed Mcdonalds where they sell oil instead of crappy meat.

Sorry if this is out of line and i misunderstood what you are saying but....You are a F&&&ing Moron!!! I did not say that i approved of my brother doing this and there is no way for me to stop him and the other guys from keeping on doing this. So please enlighten me as to how i deserve loose bolts on my car for something that i pay for? Or how does anyone deserve loose bolts on their car for that matter. I can do nothing to stop this problem, trust me if i could i would
And how would contacting the better business bureau get this problem solved? The problem that Mr.Lube has is that it hires just any teenager off the street and doesn't supervise the quality of work that is being done. I am not making it in MY priorities to get this problem solved because i dont go there anymore. My car can't fit over the rails even if i was in a huge bind one of these days.
I personally know the guys there, they have done oil changes on my moms escape, and they do **** like, take out the air filter, and just throw it out, they stripped out the drain plug, so they just put a bigger bolt in......

Wow, dont these people have any ethics. thats the beauty of reviews. its not hard to find peoples experience online before trying a business out. granted sometimes you just gotta take a chance.
mechegg, you could have contacted mr lube to let them know of the problems your brother causes to people's cars because he's disgruntled with the customers not buying what he's shovelling???
anyways looks like this thread has established all quick lube place ie quicklube, mr lube, pro lube, lube city (basically any shop you would be able to drive into without an appointment that hires people like mecheggs' bro) is not a place a euro car should go in for service.
