I think so, they always ask me if I want the OEM or their FRAM filter i believe it's called. I always get their cheap filter and never had a problem. I think it's an extra $3-$5 for the OEM one. I always end up paying under $90. I go there because they're fast and good costumer service.

I would definatly recommend using the OEM filter, 1.8T's are notorious for developing oil sludge if not properly maintained, I wouldnt trust those cheap fram filters

I've taken vehicles to Nikon across the street from SAIT, always had pretty good service. In the past I've brought own filters and even my own oil a few times (Mobil1) and they've just charged me from the service. Have gone there for 12 years or so depending on what cars I've had.

To be honest....I've never heard of Motul. From what I've googled its high performance oil and probably over the top for my 2.0L. i've been using Castrol Syntec. 5 litre jugs from walmart for $40.
