    They made the prototype with the 3.6 engine two years ago though.

        Well, we already have an euro spec 3.2FSI 4Mo DSG Passat. 3.6 in a compact car is just too appealing to me. It is like a GT500 is always more appealing than a V6 Turbocharged mustang.

          I think the days of a V6 in the Golf are gone now, but anything is possible but considering all brands are using smaller more efficient engines with turbos I would doubt it. The 5 cylinder from the TTRS and RS3 would be an interesting fit though!

            Blair is right. If they used the TTRS engines. Lord help us would that ever be the most fun car to drive. Granted they'd probably tune it down a bit, but what numbers are revo pushing out of it now?
