ASR in snow
I was just out in this big storm that us New Englanders are getting right now w/ my 03 GTI 1.8 and it is so nice!! I just have one question. I was coming up a hill and the ASR light kept coming on. I was slipping but I came right out of it and came over the hill. Does the light mean my ASR wasnt working or it was going into overtime?? ESP must be really nice!!

the flashing light means your tires were getting slippage but the system decreases engine power so they don't slip.. keep it on all the time and don't worry about the light when i drive it flashes a ton but i would rather go a tad slower than polishing the damn road like the morons out there who spin roads to crap
