They would rather drive clapped out Audi's than a new VW

I think as cost of living goes up for everything and wages aren't reflected people are making sacrifices. I kind of agree with Kris about brand recognition but that only goes so far. I would have loved a new C30 and I know the quality of the car was really good but they were just so expensive!

I think one of the best looking VW's has been the Passat CC, such a hot car I like it way more than this design. This design isn't horrible though.

Yeah the CC is a great looking car but guess what............It's not selling either!!!

^^^ It's also $53k (Or at least that's how much the CC R that's in the showroom in S'toon is!) Dead sexy car, but $53K for a VW? I don't think so. And I'm obviously not the only one that shares that view... Hence, the cheaper, lower priced new models is a great move by VW. Let Audi take care of the high end stuff.... Or else bring over cars like the Polo and Lupo.

yea niche buyer for the CC i'd say because they'd say why should i buy the CC when i can get an A4 for that price
