Passat problems

Picked up a 99 passat today and it has a few problems and wondering what you guys thing i should do

First, the driver side heated seat does not work. Is there anyway to check if its the actual seat before i start ripping it apart to figure out it still wont work

Also the power mirrors do not work. It has this switch...



When its in L or R it doesnt work, but when its in the position opposite of the heated mirrors it will allow me to control the passenger mirror

For the heated seat just get underneath it and see if there is power there, or pop out the switch and test the power there, check the fuse too.

For the mirrors something probably got rotated inside the switch assembly.

Is there anyway to fix the switch or just buying a new one is the best bet for the mirror.

Also i looked into it and the switch i have is for power folding also. Does the base model passat have power folding mirrors cause i really doubt that

Just buy a new switch, also I don't believe any models in NA have folding mirrors.

Oh yea, another thing is the abs light is on. Is there anyway to check which sensor it is or if its something else?
