Here's a recent one with the windshield wiper fluid tank. Expect some letters coming in early January guys.

"The recall affects 2007 to 2009 model year Golf, Jetta, Jetta Sportwagen, Rabbit and 2006 to 2010 Beetle and Beetle convertibles."

"It's not yet clear whether Canadian models are affected."

standard transmission win!

i've seen a lot of people posting youtube videos about this with the DSG transmission. glad VW of America finally got on it, means Canada will follow suit.

Rather it was the other way around, but still.

LOl I love reading some of those comments. I give props to VW for taking the appearance hit with a recall on things that are even as stupid and small as a rubber plug over the headlight adjustment hole. The one thing they really need to crack down on is the dealerships (sorry Derek). Repairs are getting to the point where they are throwing arts at the car and hoping that one works and the rest of the service is spotty at best. At least the dealerships in town don't have some of the horror stories I have heard elsewhere.

at least VW does a recall.. audi ignores the issue and posts up a TSB warning dealerships about it.. if you bring it in the dealer does however fix it under good faith with no cost which is nice but they never bring it to light in the public
