you guys are sure putting a lot of faith in the stations or the delivery systems...

i got a tank of diesel from esso a few winters ago when we had that -55 with wind chill snap - it ended up gelling and freezing my fuel filter and lines.

could not get it heated/going for love or money for almost a week.

adding an additive gives a small piece of mind.

x2, I never had to use the 911 but I do keep a bottle in my trunk in the winter for any unfortunate soul who may need it. I gave some kid that had an old MK3 TDI my bottle a few years ago at Market Mall during a really cold snap.
