Sounds like he woulda paid outta pocket to have it fixed and dealt with without you bringing in police and insurance... I'd be pissed if I was him too now his insurance might go up.
tainted carfax history? I'd hope you'd be reporting this kind of stuff to a buyer regardless of carfax reports...

Serge do you think before you type?

Its obvious that "DubSport" is the guy who hit and ran, and has now infiltrated Eurodrivers to sway the OP from taking action against him.

      Yup thats it, case closed.

      HA I kid!

but yeah, definitely use your insurer.
easy get all the facts on that one .weather or not your incorporated has nothing to do with personal liability . being incorporated is not a free for all with liabilities and responsibilities

Called my insurance contact, he said that it could take up to 5 months to get the report back from the Police. **** that. I got AMA to cover the work under my comprehensive. Car goes into the shop soon. NEW PAINT BABY!!! that rear panel is so rock chipped it's not even funny.

Glad you got it sorted out. When i got rear ended in June i was very upset especially since the 16 year old kid was texting and had a car load of people distracting him. But my insurance took control of most everything and Jeff set me up with a guy to fix my car and it came out really good and even an extra (shaved trunk).
Who did you take it to?
