I hear what you're saying Stonewall and yes, you do have to take it to the "approved" shops adjuster first before any "non-approved" shop touches it.
To answer your question MoreSpeed... the lame answer is... it depends. How much backlog, how difficult a job, sourcing the parts required, etc. On a good day, I think Cosmos could match AAAAA1 or whatever but usually, they will take a bit longer. I can't quantify it but let's face it... Cosmos is a quality shop and not a quantity shop if you know what I mean.
PS. My apologies on the rant Stonewall. It wasn't directed at you but rather, the insurance companies themselves. Every time I've ever needed some work done, they always try to "talk me out of" going to a non-approved shop. Drives me nuts! Obviously!
PS. Knock on wood.... haven't needed Loc's services for a long time now. Must be that 4-Motion or something?
