Uh! You can't tell me that all those mods he put in there are worth what he says they are. He/she, doesn't realize that mods to a vehicle don't make the resale value go up that much, if at all. For 32K I would rather spend the money on a new car or truck, not a used, modded Jetta. This guys ad made me day, some people are kidding themselves. I'll give him 32 K in Monopoly money for it lol.

from his writeup. the car's been rebuilt at least 3 times. so i can see that he spent that much money over 3 rebuids + parts + car price + oil changes .. and if CAW did the work, at $100+ /hr, i can see it.

16k if he had maybe upgraded his internals, other wise the car is a ticking time bomb. Be ready for an engine rebuild soon on that girl.

the thing that gets me though is as far as I read no internal work was done. It seems odd that even 3 rebuilds would cost 30+ grand when all these rebuilds constitute are Joe racer bolt ons that anyone could easily do to a stock 1.8T for under 10k. I would maybe see 30grand spent if internals were beefed up, and the 550hp claim just blows me away. If you can run 550hp reliably on stock 1.8T internals sign me up for a 1.8T!!!!

Built with what? Playdoh? It states right at the bottom that it has stock internals.
Edit: It also states 550HP capable, well so is my lawnmower but I am not trying to sell it for $32K.

Well in an email response i got its built, i've talked to sam at CAW and yes this car is built. Scat, wiseco and AEB apparently.

Those wheels are horrible and looks wise, the car is stock.
In the end, its still not worth his asking price and thats why he still hasnt sold it.
