Just wondering if anyone here has ordered some parts from them. Good service? fast shipping? Did you pay any customs or taxes on top of you order? thanks.

I have. Good service, good prices.. however expect duties on your order and you are at the mercy of the border for shipping times. Parts are still cheaper after all is said and done than you can buy here.

yeah pretty quick they ship next business day for me but expect duty cost.
i had to pay $20 duty for a $25 tool set.
i hear shipping by air is suppose to avoid custom fees, but not confirmed (i heard for the ups)

Good company, shipping sucks so order lots at once to save a bit.

Honestly found the parts cheaper to order throught the dealerships. I found a few parts I liked and took the part numbers to 5th ave, which they order from california

definitely depends on parts, can't remember what it was I ordered from them last but I went to the dealer and the dealer wanted 300% more than ECS wanted so even with shipping/duties I was still laughing!!

also check Concept1 before you buy from ECS, anything that both ECS and C1 sell will be cheaper in the end buying from C1, C1 is very competitive with their pricing

You sure about that? Not to bash concept or anything, cause I deal with them lots too and they are great guys, but when I went to buy 20mm spacers, concept wanted $180 per set, and I bought ECS spacers from CAW for $110, and lawrence told me he doesnt mark them up, just charges the cost plus what they pay for shipping.

Just food for thought...shop around for the lowest price. As for the OP, i've purchased from ECS. yes you get hit with duties, but its not that bad. Their service and timeliness is very good!

                  Re: ECS tuning

I bought 20mm spacers from Tunerworks cause H&R sporttrak+ ones with bolts from tunerworks were cheaper than the FK ones from concept.

Also when i bought spacers originally from concept they gave me the wrong sized bolts.

I have been hearing a lot of nightmares at concept lately, Personally i avoid them at all costs.

                              don't choose (cheapest) ground shipping,
think the international saver (ups) is the best bet, takes 2 - 3 days, minimal brokerage charges
priced out timing belt kits locally, and there, was cheaper at ecs, total brokerage+tax was $17 for $285 usd
