if you're using it just for obd-ii stuff, then i bought a bluetooth module. u can get those a lot cheaper. there's iphone, wmobile, android and osx apps for it

i can assure u, that if it doesn't work then i will just write something quick. communicating with these obd-ii bluetooth modules is easy as pie. it's just a serial connection with simple AT commands.
i just can't promise a very pretty interface
