Re: Calgary TDI Club Meet - Sept 12th

Its more then ok, highly recommended with the sulfur being removed.

I will admit I don't add it much in the summer, but in the winter its cheap insurance. I figure the cost of adding some conditioner, to being stuck because of non winterized fuel or just an aid in starting cold is well worth it.

Go search on TDiclub, there is more info on this exact topic then I want to read.

The powerservice with cetane boost is noticable when driving. Bit of a pain pouring in only a portion of a bottle without making a mess though....

I use this funnel from Princess Auto and it works pretty good. http://www.princessauto.com/garage/l...3-measu-funnel The thing I hate the most is that the PS bottles leak! No matter how tight the cap is they always leak so I store them in my car in large zip lock bag.

I use Howes something or the other. To be honest I have had a huge bottle for years, I am horrible at remembering to add it lol. I know MEC has some nice little bottles that you can fill for a one tank job but I have yet to pick any up.

TDI Jetta's are a dime a dozen right now, it is golfs that are hard to find. That is a pretty good price though. Did it have leather too?

PS Looked at a black 05 today and looking at a silver 05 tonight too. I have a bigger problem though, the van just got a big rear booboo :(
