    Re: VW replacing MAF's now?

I get just over 500 km per tank consistantly during mixed City/Highway/Freeway driving till the light first comes on. I haven't really noticed too much from winter to summer (so far).

        Re: VW replacing MAF's now?

yep I always get around 9.5 L/100km's with all city driving. Usually get 500km's before the idiot light comes on.

Also, MAF's are covered for most cars. Check out the links below.

Well isn't that craptastic! My 99 TDI has 130k on it now GRR I could have put my old MAF in and got me a new free $400 one! But no now all the $$ I spent on it comes out of my own pocket even though I know it was all their fault in the first place due to a very very crappy part.

Well, my last tank was crappy. Got the light on at 420 kms. Could have been a bad tank of gas. I've never had bad mileage like this. I'll see what happens this tank. I just thought it was funny since we were just talking about it.

I love filling up once every two weeks. About every 800 km's or so when I have a quarter tank left. hehe
