    Hey guys,

I havent posted on here for a while but i did have a question.

My Fiance has a 2006 Jetta 2.0T and I am going to replace her rear pads and rotors. I noticed you need a special tool to remove the brake calaper brakets. I believe its one of those triple square tools? I just need to know what size? (6, 8, 10, 12 etc)

    Thanks!

not sure about the triple square size, but make sure you have the right tool to press in the caliper piston. (the one that turns the piston as it pushed it in)

for that special piston retracting tool, dont go and buy it, go and buy your pads from parts source and ask to rent the brake caliper master kit, the rental is free (requires refundable $100 deposit) if you buy your pads there and it has every fitting for every car.

as for a special tool to remove the calipers i have no idea

I bought the special tool kit a couple weeks ago. Your welcome to borrow mine for a Timmys steep tea (2milk & 2 sugars) and a raspberry doughnut...
