  • The NEW NewVeeDub

As the current administrator for NVD I thought I would say a few words about the recent changes and direction of NewVeeDub.

The last month has seen many transformations for NVD, however we are becoming an even larger part of the Alberta late model Volkswagen scene. The new forum is now up and running for all you regular users and newbies to enjoy with an expanded website hopefully to follow. The next year will see us have more events, such as World of Wheels 2004, cruises and hopefully a track day or two. We would also like to continue to add more sponsors for the benefit of our members and establish an extensive discount and contact list.

I encourage everyone to get involved if you like and help make this a great club and continue to spread the love of Volkswagens.

    Thanks for your support!

Yup Blair, we have big numbers and big plans for the future guys! I'll try my best to rep NVD to the public on my ventures as I have about 6 cars on my hit list to huntdown for members up in the NW.

It's only New Jersey, but it would be one hell of a road trip, I would love to do it one year!

Are there any huge shows on the west coast? Thats a bit better, plus we could stop in Vegas.

Wow, old thread....But yea, Great Canadian Bug show (could be called something different now) in Coquitlam. It's 2 days (actually 3 if you include the Friday night drags and bbq's at a couple of the shops, VERY nice cars there. The CVD guys make a trip out there every year. It was cool.

So this may be an odd question, and I've admitedly been out of the scene for some time, but what ever happened to Peter?
