Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny.
How about a "NewVeeDub.com" Sticker
Good Mod so far....

I am thinking of ordering a "Power Gasket" after the holidays. I think it's been mentioned on here before. Insulates manifold from engine block better. They "claim" 10hp which is obviously an exaggeration. However, it is true that the ECU controls engine timing based on the air temperature, and it is also true that people have measured this air temperature with and without the gasket, and it stays cooler longer with the gasket. Its only $60US, a guy on Vortex will ship them from BC for $80CAN. Good, cheap perfromance mod. Better value than most mods that cost twice as much.

Kor -- I put the powergasket on my car during the summertime. The butt-dyno doesn't register anything (I wasn't expecting anything) although I did notice that the throttle body is waaaaay cooler than before. I've fried my hand multiple times by touching it, whereas now (with the powergasket) it doesn't get hot at all. Mind you, if you're stuck in traffic for an hour, odds are it'll eventually heat up I figure it was cheap, and dub werks was selling 'em for $49US (an extra buck for shipping to canada). It ended up being around $66Cdn to my door. It IS a pain in the duff to install though...not much room in there to pull the intake manifold away from the block!

I'll definitely have to do this one then, it sounds like you're confirming my suspicions - not a lot of extra power (if any) but good temperature reduction for the intake manifold. Plus its cheap. I wonder if I can still get that price Or if anyone else is interested I could try go get a discount...
doesnt look that hard.. little intimidating but thats all.... i was worried about Joey moddin my headlights but that was one of the easiest i've done....
