  • Air Filter

    This may be a dumb question but where is the air filter located?
    I am going to asume it is under the 2.5 cover and if i'm rite my next question is how do i get to it?
    Sorry but i'm a nube to the Vee Dubs so i haven't a clue.
    BTW it's a 2010 Golf 2.5

    Not sure how you get at it but it is up front. Did you get an intake? I think some of the MK5 versions should work for you.

          you have to unplug the maf, undo the hose clamp and pull up on the entire cover. they are held VERY securely with 4 mounts. unless you've pulled one before, you will break it.
          you probably don't like me because someone else said they didn't lol. <3

              if you can get a good grasp at each corner, starting from the right front, left front, rear, etc... then you might be ok. the factory mounts are brutal tough. once you get it off, lube the mounting points to make it easier for the next time. stupidest design ever.
