i don't get it with new european cars looking like they were designed by an asian car company. Same deal with the new S60 (well I guess volvo did sell to a chinese firm), I nearly cried when I saw it....

Waiting to see it in real life to make final judgement. I missed the big Times Square "release event" that happened in June because I had to work that day argggggh. Really wanted to see this thing up close.

I have hope that a modded one could look hot....but so far it looks pretty bland in stock form. That concept render we saw a while back looked decent with some plus sized wheels and a slight drop.

yeah. after long conversation my car guy at VW confided that the interior is all hard plastic, cheap everything. the only good part, IMO, is the body kit. the only good interiors are on the premium models and the GLI. He said something about the suspension as well, but I don't remember what it was exactly. Overall he wasn't impressed, said he is going to have a hard time selling them.
