  • 92 Eurovan Fuel pump - ideas?

    Hey guys,

My 1992 Eurovan transporter, 5cyl gas. Has had the fuel pump go kaput. Bosch doesn't make a replacement anymore, and the shops (I tried Concept 1 and An import specialist in Kelowna as that's where I'm living now) have no strong idea what replacement to get. According to one of them, there is a new aftermarket pump available, but I have to go to the dealer to get a retrofit kit installed so that the new pump will function. Can anyone with any experience with these point me in the right direction???

Bowbow is pretty good, go with what they say. Dave and Paul should also know what to use.

The pump depending on the serial number may have to be upgraded.
pm me the vin and i'll let you know.
      2 options you have.
1 cut a hole thru your rug and get access to the cover or suck out the fuel and drop the tank.
Are you sure the P/S switch or O2 sensor ar'nt shorting out and maybe causing the fuse to blow.
If it is the pump get ready for 350 to 500 dollar hit depending on vin.
