  • So Many Things

I usually love my Dub when it runs well, but lately the thing is really starting to bug me... everything is going wrong. About a week ago the stereo stopped working, which is now the second time... and neither time it's been just the fuse... they have to replace the unit itself. Yesterday I looked at the headlight, and realized that I have ALOT of condensation in one of them. Also, the suspension/sway-bar/subframe is squeeking like crazy (I'm gonna have C1 look at it.... And the thing that bugs me the most is that it rattles like crazy... the whole dash, the doors, and the seats now too :( One top of this I blew a coil-pack like a month ago..

Anyhow, when this thing runs well it's amazing.... but I'm just having a bad month..:yahsure:
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

colin the lowering makes your car rattle.. kris said this before to me and its true my stock suspension never rattled but now I get the odd rattle from my rear door pins but that could be because I changed them to the 25th ones as for the headlight condensation just turn them on and it will go away no biggie there.. or its a reason to go HIDs or ecodes

COMPLAIN to your dealer, the headlight should be under warranty AND the sway bar bushings that usually creak, give em hell they will fix it (or should).

        headlight

Yea I had the same prob with condension in the headlight and they replaced it for me, o but they also replaced my dash pod (speedo cluster) because it had that military time on the clock. I guess the point of what i'm saying is that if u complain they will fix it. Anybody else have military time on ther clock, and no they could fix it with vag-com.

well everyone know that back flappy deal on your headlights with the tab at the top.. well I somehow broke mine when I installed my CAI pulling off the inner ducting crap and it hooked on that and now it never snaps back in so its always open so every time I wash my car the one headlight gets condensation in it.. should I get the dealer to replace the headlight? or just leave it.. i'm putting in HIDs come spring so i dunno if complaining will help much.. they still have to replace my back seats too :( gotta bug em about that

Doesn't the sway bar need to be periodically lubricated? The only one I've heard of that doesn't is the H&R front sway. The urethane bushings on others need to be greased according to my understanding.....Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea.... I guess I'll just go the dealership and complain. They said they couldn't/worldn't do anything about the rattles though... and thats the thing that gets on me the most. I knew stiffer suspension would cause some of this... but it's starting to sound like a tin-can. I had stiff suspension on my old car, and some rattles were part of that.... but no-where near this :mrscrewy:

Anyhow... When I have the stereo fixed... I wont hear it anyways..LOL
