  • Experience with Rear Swaybars in Winter?

So how is everyone doing with their rear sways in the winter, I presume reduced traction makes it a bit easier to sense whether the car is in a mild oversteer or understeer setup. How's everyone doing?

Also, is it your first winter with the car and it has a swaybar, or have you driven in winter with and without the sway?

I can't really remember what the car was like without the rear sway anymore. If my swaybar was adjustable I would want it a bit stiffer though I think.

Less understeer, but not enough to make a difference. Both are bad on ice. Last winter no bar, this winter bar.

What's really neat is that in the summer with my FK susp and 17s I found the susp dramatically firmer, etc (as expected). But now that I put my stock 15s on, I find the susp is BETTER (less harsh) on the ice chunks and such than my stock susp with the same wheels last year. Better dampeners? - shrug. Could be in my head, or the roads last year were worse... End result is I'm happy.

Same wheels (I had the 15s on for both winters)
