PHAETON damn is this thing nice...... W12 6.0

The only thing i didnt likke about it was the HUGE wheel gap had 18" wheels and still about 6 " of gap, but inside oh my was it nice Nav and everything

a V12 (W12 whatever) is friggin nuts! so they are at dealers now I take it? those things are super cool but its gonna be hard to buy a uber expensive dub versus a MB.

The Phaetons are crossing over to the Audi/BMW/Mercedes realm. Not sure why VW would want to compete directly with Audi. I dunno...

I think that the two companies have different images, especially among the "non-car-enthusiast" population. Everyone wants a luxury car. But some people like the "volkswagen" image and other people like the "audi" image. Honestly I think many, many people haven't the slightest idea that Volkswagen and Audi are even related.

haha yea kris.. for some reason alot of people I know think VWs are for 'nerds' 'old people' 'yuppies' but then they think audis are an 'old man car' too.. my friends said I was nuts when I bought my jetta instead of say a RSX until they got a ride and said HOLY crap this thing is fast as hell and man this interior is nice as hell.. man those blue lights kick ass,etc ,etc etc..

It has an air-ride suspension so you can raise it up a few inches during the winter. Seen the a8 in its highest mod looks awful but fonctional.

YA it has the air ride but at least the Audi A8L decided to put 19z on to fill it up a bit while the Phaeton W12 still only has 18z (which i might add are mad stylin)
