I'm trying to hook up my hella fogs to the running lights, do I need a relay or could I just tap into the running lights wire on the adapter? If so what is the colour of the running lights wire in the 10-pin plug? I tried to search for a wiring diagram but most ones I found didn't list colours. Anybody know? TIA

Re: Mk4 wiring help!
grey with yellow at the light connector probably
if you're relying on factory wiring, yes you will need the relay and fuses in there too.
It's probably grey and white at the light switch.
edit: are your "running lights" the headlights or are you talking about the markers (yellow lights), no don't tap directly into the markers, use a relay.Last edited by Satnam; 05-23-2010, 08:56 PM.put.......put.......

Princess auto usually has cheap VF4 relays and sockets for them.put.......put.......
