HOW did you get it that cheap? Damn it, I want to do that. Badly. Give up your sources!

I found it for $700 US with all hardware new... Still about a grand canadian though!

From what I hear all you need to convert a stock jetta is the TT manifold, driver-side intercooler, and some bent pipes. Sean, does that sound right to you? I was thinking I might be able to get the manifold and IC from the dealership for cheaper... from a junkyard would be nice but probably too rare.

Edit: I was doing some research... some people say that you can do the dual-intercooler mod by just buying the intercooler and some pipes, SAAB couplers work well for the bottom crossover pipe. A bunch of people said they did this mod for < $300 US total. Stock manifold.

Hey I see two IC's in that box. You've already got 1 on your car. That means you'll have three. Want to sell one?

how did i get it that cheap? I know what i want and i'm willing to wait for it to come

I actually haven't looked at all about how I'm going to go to install it. I figured I'd have to fab it all myself which is no big deal. I'll have to call you when i'm back in calgary so we can talk about it.

I won't sell the spare IC because I actually have all stock parts in case I decide to sell my car i can put it back to normal(slow)

hey kris if you go onto ebay and search for FMIC there are tons of them at really cheap prices no idea if they could/would fit out cars but worth a shot.

I don't really want a FMIC setup, mostly because it is bound to be a hassle to get it working. I think its fine if you buy a new kit, but with "junkyard" intercoolers you never know what you're getting.

The Audi TT dual-IC solution is proven and also fits (mostly) into the car with a stock look. I'd only do it for a price like Sean's though, I think if you can get it done for 4-500 canadian it will be worthwhile.
