Whats wrong with my alarm

Ok, so when i left the car i closed the car (07 gti) the alarm went on, the little beep. The then i clicked it agian and lights went but beep didnt....didnt think of it much, but then the next day i closed the car and beep didnt work again wtf is going on??? help?????

If only the lights flash and the horn dosent beep it means that either one of your doors your hood or the hatch is not closed properly. Or it could be worse and you need a latch on one or the doors because the car isint recognizing that the door is latched properly.

i went to my car and made sure all the doors, hood and trunk where closed.....
still didnt work, hope its not the door latches

omg vw are messed
it fixed it self, woke up went to my car when i got out beep went off when i locked
i guess the merman left...
