That's purely a "trade in" value. Sellf or more, obviously, if you can.

If car is clean, even better. I recommend taking it a detailer's.

yah totally clean it up and sell it for more. if you have a steam cleaner or carpet cleaner, then use that. i use a Little Green Machine that i got from cdn tire. makes the interior look and smell new. people get into my 10 year old S4 and say "wow how new is this car?" lol .. except for now that it's snowing again

IMHO, I think 12 is too high (unless you wear a tux). I think you'd be fortuante to get 11. And that's assuming you have the power options, because I think you're in tough selling a 2008 with manual locks and windows. I'd list for 10,500 OBO personally. (I have an '07 City and was recently (~2 months ago) looking closely at what was out there for City Golfs as I was making a decision that required me to decide if I might buy the car out at its end of lease... Anyways, all that to say that I was amazed at how good a deal could be had on some City models, and there's zero chance I'm buying it out!

It's a car buyer's market right now. Good deals on new mean used prices have to respond.

well mine has power windows and power doors...
like i said before i wouldn't mind even getting around 10 000 for it
but i will see if i want to sell it..im trying to sell the honda first if that doesnt sell then

Re: fair price on my vw

Pick a firm selling price that you are willing to accept. Then raise your list price on it by at least $500 to $1500 so you can at least negotiate with the purchaser.

I sold my Golf in about 3 weeks on Kijiji, and I sold it for $500 less than I listed it for no problem.

                          Good luck

By the way, my 2002 golf black book value was between $2400 - 3600! I sold it for $5400

Was it by chance black and the rear suspension won't stay up haha.

but yea OP set your asking at 16,000 and post it on beyond
