  • Another Dilema

So I am thinkin of getting wheels for my car and was wondering what everyone thinks. 2 options

    Option 1:

Powdercoat my Montes "Gunmetal" and get Coilovers

    Option 2:

Sell Montes, get new 18's and leave my ride hieght as it is on the Race springs

    2.

Just because your wheels look good when you let brake dust accumulate on them dosent mean that its worth painting them that colour and losing all their resale value. Get some 18s dawg, and keep the race springs.

Option 2. Your car looks sweet already with the springs and you know the bling factor of 18's.

option 2 for sure, only keep your montes and throw some pilot alpins on them for winter

I just bought winter steelies, So i have winters.... the dilema i have is if i should get a lower ride height or stick with the race springs.... here is a pic of my car with some Gummetal montes that a fellow NVD member did up for me.....

they look the same as the normal montes to me umm dale right now with my drop the only problem I have is chunks of snow on the ground and since I only have so much clearance I take them out which scares me but its only the plastic valence taking the pain so I just dodge them all the time..

buy some 18's or 19's sell your montes and then keep rocking the steelies

Up to you. Your drop is already pretty nice, and is also practical. The monte's are nice OEM wheels too. I am not sure refinishing them would drastically change their look though.

Ya i was thinkin the same thing..... I think with the Race Springs and a nice dished 18 will make the car look real nice.. and at the same time still drivable.....

What springs/setup are you running? It looks like the car is much lower in the front

Those were old H&R Sport springs and I am parked on a hill angled down to the drivers front wheel... Thats why it looks lower there... the setup I am running now is the H&R Race with the OEM sport struts....

option 1 man. A nice drop makes the monte's look HUGE, I will take a pic sooner or later and post it up, I have a nice drop going on with my MC's.

Now I see. I didn't even notice the hill. I've been running the OEM shocks until now too. Too much undulating and bouncing for my taste though. Feels like I'm hitting switches going through dips :mrlaugh:
