New Battery

Mine died this morning, jumped it with my generator thing.

It's 8 years old so it owes me nothing. Should I get another OEM one, or are their good replacements that fit properly? I read that some of the Sears/Walmart bats are a slightly diff size.

I don't need some fancy red top whatever, but good cranking amps for sure.

walmart energizer(i think) batteries fit perfect. I can't remember what the battery size number is but it will be listed in wally marts guide or check vortex. Unfortunately I don't think there is a lot of selection when it comes to batteries as I looked into optimas, but one size is too big so you have to leave the cover off and the step down from that is to small.
