    Matra 3299 - VW Special Tool

    Any idea where I could source a Matra 3299 which is the VW special tool in order to replace a serpentine belt on a Eurovan? There are a couple vendors in the U.S. that carry it but some don't ship to Canada.

    What year van? I don't think I needed one to get mine off. I would have a chat with Paul (VWSM) as he knows tons about urinalvans.

      It is a 1994. I hear that you can use a crescent wrench method but I would prefer just to get the tool. Too bad that Paul does not have a garage out here in E-Town.
