i believe from my readings on the 1.8T tech forum the only reason to go up to a 3" DP/exhaust is if you are planning on running a bigger turbo.. perhaps sean has a 3" setup i dunno

I was reading that no one has hit 13's with a 2.5" downpipe. Only people with 3" DP's have been hitting lower 1/4 miles.
