    Hey guys,

Looks like I have to change my wheel bearing on my mk4. Has anyone done this before? How easy was it? Anyone willing to give me a hand if they've done it? I dont really want to take it to a shop if it's an easy thing to do..

      Re: Wheel Bearing

Rears are pretty easy, never done the front. The only somewhat tricky part is getting the hub on without the tool (VW or otherwise), but its not too big a deal. You need a 2 or 3 leg puller and a big 12 point socket (can't remember what size) to get the old one off.

        Re: Wheel Bearing

Just did both my front ones last week. I pulled both spindles off and took them to south center to have them press the old ones and the new ones in. If you have any questions PM me.
