  • N75 J valve finally installed!

Well this friday was looking pretty nice to test out my new j valve.

I wasnt expecting much but every gear spikes to 20 and my 3rd gear spikes around 21-22 PSI. :mrscrewy: DAMN. 3rd gear was my weakest before and now its the strongest. I'm holding 14-15PSI strong now around 5000RPM which is freaking good. Before my RPM's would drop dramatically around 4000-5000. It feels like my big surge in power comes around 3500-4000 RPM. Before it kicked in realy early around 2800-3000RPM.

The best part is my higher rpm's. Doesnt feel like its crapping out as much now.

After my catback the Tiptronic/Auto engine modifications will be complete. I'm not sure how much this engine can take but its sure fast for an auto. :mrtongue:

Ahh the spikes. How I hate them. One day I will kill them.

Right now I am back to my stock valve/chip since I was at the dealership, and its been too damned cold to go outside and work. I miss the chip a lot. Gotta put it in if its warm this weekend. Argh I need a heated garage!!!

Yeah I get a little freaked out with sooo much boost in my ride. I'm defintely gonna swap out my c1 poly motor mounts. They're waaaaaaay to vibrational on an auto.

Anyone know of any other mounts that dont rattle as much? Or any other solutions to cure the downpipe rubbing against the heat shield????

              DAMN,

People that chip their cars .... THIS IS A MUST. I Must've been surging pretty bad before because my higher rpm's are definitely feeling strong.

Took the car out towards rocky ridge for some open road testing to see how my boost held up at higher speeds.=) Some mustang non GT was trying to keep up but couldnt. It was nice for my little auto.

Forge make some that are softer than the C1 and stiffer than the stocks. Not sure exactly on the durometer though.

Cool =) Today I saw a 22 PSI spike. I'm starting to get a little worried.

Forge is leaps and bounds better than the c1 ones...

As long as my car vibrates less i'm happy. The best I heard for auto cars are Chris Green (red) version.

If it vibrates less, then the motor isn't being held as firmly, right?

it's still held firmly, but the softer pieces flex a bit more (and absorb the vibes), so the engine will rotate more under load.

The only reason I put mine in was to prevent my dp from rubbing.
