That battery is very very tiny compared to mine. Clean install on the front , not so much on the back but it really looks like it works. Where they hard to align? I take it they have the euro style cutoffs? Interesting mod, really makes me want to finally get HID bulbs in to the projector housings on my golf and eurovan.

the back although looks sloppy is was quite clean. all i did was dremel out the back cover and epoxy a pvc reducer on. i got lazy on the painting part. i left the pvc pipe white and just wrapped it in electrical tape so it only looks sloppy because of that. aligning it i got lucky. first time i took it for a road test before gluing the shrouds on it was aligned good. if you're talking about the shroud sitting relative to the housing, all i did was take a T-square against the turn signal surface and from there put 2 DVD cases behind it and then the shroud. i found this to be pretty effective as it sits a good distance behind the lens and is flush with the turn signal. after that you just have to rotate the shroud to get the beam alignment right.
You have projectors so i say why not get HIDs. its a good upgrade. saw a few Lancers and Civics yesterday with HIDs blinding me and everyone else because their cars don't have projectors. they just don't know any better.
I have a severe hatred of people with HID's not in projectors. Makes me want to take a bat to them every time I see them, including Ryans old car.
Btw I didn't mean to say the inside where bad just the tape looks out of place, too bad you couldn't use threaded caps or something.

yeah threaded caps did cross my mind but the cost of misc. parts was more than what i wanted. at 8 bucks per ABS/PVC part times 4 and Jb weld/epoxy etc. on top of the 400 for the Projectors/Bulbs/ballast/Harness. i don't know how other people do it on the side but doesnt seem like much profit.

i have hid's in my hella de's and i love them. i moded my cut offs on my projectors aswell. i know your hella's in your eurovan are the same as mine so heres some pics of my mod.
Did you change the cutoff for both sides or just the driver? I could see doing only the drivers side as then you would still have the extra light on the side of the road.

of course, when passing someone, that extra light there is ok

i did both sides. theres lots of light, so theres no need for the squrel finders. i could show you if you want. i need to go to my cousin's place anyways. pm me if you want to have a look...

It is no worse then normal light and I am sure the designers took that into consideration.
I still haven't even touched the lights on the van or my car. Hope to get around to it sometime this summer so I will hit you up then. It does look like you just cut out a new metal piece?

do both sides like passgt, and yes the designers did take "that" into consideration when they designed the housing for a halogen bulb.
In this thread you take both sides - don't put HIDs in housing they're not designed for. Then say well it should be ok ("for me") to blind someone with half of the car.
The headlights, if aimed properly will light up directly infront, not off to the side.
