  • Triple Squares / 12 points

Gonna be puttin those FK Coilovers in sometime soon and I am rounding up the appropriate tools; Seems I need a 14mm Triple square.

So, I went to Concept1 yesterday and they only sell them as a set (Which I purchased), Albeit they are all lengthy; about 3 or 4 inches. It seems from the DIY's that I need a short / regular length one.

If I get to doing the coilovers, and attempt to use these, and find that they are too long.......The return policy is nill if I take the plastic off the case. And they were also $50.

Is there anywhere in town that I can purchase a single 14mm triple square driver?

    k thx

The ones from c1 work just fine for doing coilivers or pretty much anything. My set is well used at this point.

A set of 3 long ones is 32usd from metalnerd plus shipping so it is likely you got a ok deal. I would just keep them as you will likely need them someday.

So there wasn't any reason for a shorter version? You access everything just fine with this length driver?

        Perhaps I'll keep em

I bought the same kit from C1 because they didn't have the single one. I had no problem with the length of the ones in that kit.

If yours is still in wrapper you can return it and borrow mine when you need it if you'd like. I have literally used it once when I installed my coils.

edit: I used it for MKV with no problems

Yep they work just fine. I've used it for mk5, mk4, a eurovan, mk2 and some aircooled. The length actually works out nicely for the older stuff too.
