  • Decided it was time to go WIDE.

20mm Installed today. Props to Loc and Shawn at Cosmos for getting her all squared away. Enjoy!
Will try to post some better front/rear quarter shots tomorrow as the ones here don't it justice.

FYI. Since I've now installed my summer tires... that means it should snow within the next 48 hours!

    Lookin good.

Did you find that 20mm was enough? On my 16 inch Montreal II's I could have gone another 10mm to sit nice and flush.

    Aristos?

Looks good Rob. I think your getting a little carried away with your title however. I don't think the WIDE need to be in caps. Its really not that wide!!!!

        I feel cheated

I thought I was going to see some wide wheels, not spaced out 7.5inch wheels.

On a side note, if you decide to go low, you will rub. Ask me how I know.

        looks good

I have 20's in the back and I don't rub at all. Not really that low but the Pss9's are almost cranked all the way down!

Fair enough. I had 20's on my GLI with Koni's cranked to the bottom and it didn't rub either though!

BTW Rob, Are you planning on lowering your .:R?

How low would you say? I have Koni's but I just don't feel like they go low enough even though they are spun down, and rear perches removed, although I scrape on most curbs, bumps, and dips.

Would you mind sometime measuring the distance from the ground to the highest point on the outside curve of your fender for both the front and back of the car?

I would like to compare mine with someone who has another brand.
I hope you know what I mean for the measurement not sure if I explained that well or not.

Can't measure right now because its in winter mode, however during the summer I was very low and still had 1 or 2 inches of thread remaining up front if I wanted to go lower.

If I did go all the way down, I'd pretty much be laying on my frame. H&R's go stupid low

As far as I know, we have a few BMP's in calgary, but the club only has the 2 DBP's and Derek's RS. I'm hoping to fill that BMP spot in the club within the next month or so
