  • Unfiltered Air = F@ck?

I popped my hood to fill up with some window washer blue juice and saw that the filter had wiggled off my jury-rigged "winter" short ram and the intake was sucking air in through a nice unfiltered 3" opening. I cannot have been more than 2 days but could this be bad? I have not noticed any bad behaviour from the car.

I wouldnt leave it like that (obviously) but sounds like tis just dust that got in.... not a huge deal.

It's not good, but you caught it in a short time. The fact that there is some moisture on the road is probably in your favour. Keeps the dust down. I'd expect there would be little to no damage in that time, unless you hit up some seriously dusty roads in that 2 days.
