recent coil pack recall letters

so, like many others, i got a letter from vw about the recall and the re-imbursements and all that.
sent mine in and then a month later got another of the same letters again.
has anyone gotten any word back?? i hope i didn't miss the boat or eff up.

ps, just started taking the car to concept 1 and got great customer service. fixed a lot of problems the last place i was going to missed...

My old lady got hers recalled about a month ago and she still has not got a reimbursment for it...

Do you have to have a coilpack bomb before you get this done or at they just saying come get them all replaced?

If its a recall item, I would assume they are obligated to replace it even if yours is working fine.

i sold my allroad, and the coils all died literally within a week. the guy called me, told him it was a recall, they replaced them no problem. apparently 2 had died. i had one die a while ago as well, still waiting on reimbursement for that though. but they replaced all 5 that were not the one i had replaced 5 months ago.

they have the serial numbers of the cars that might be affected. mine was one of em. i got them serviced, no big deal, but if there's a chance of getting a reimbursement, I'm in like sin!

just checking to see if anyone else got any info or cash back from vw.

I submitted mine months ago (for just the parts, I did the change myself) but haven't been paid. Was worth a try.

yea i've gotten 2 now.. first one say dealership would call me/email me about it

second one i got like 2 weeks ago says to make my own appointment now hahaha

one day soon i'll take the AR in for it..
